The two jobs most electricians around here will not quote
Most electrical jobs are the same job whoever does them. Then there are the two that are not: the illuminated sign on the front of your building and the lights over your parking lot. Both are twenty five feet up, and both are why most electricians in this area either say no or add somebody else's lift to your invoice.
We own the truck. That is the whole reason signs and lot lighting sit on our vehicle beside the word electrical, and it is why a retail unit, a restaurant or an apartment complex can get everything done by one contractor instead of three.
The residential side is the ordinary work done properly: finding the fault rather than replacing parts until it stops, upgrading panels that have run out of room, and the fans, lighting, data and hot tub circuits that people actually want.

A parking lot light and a high illuminated sign are not difficult electrical work. They are difficult to REACH, and that is why most residential electricians either decline the job or hire in a lift and add it to your bill.
We own a Versalift. That means we quote the whole job, we do the whole job, and there is nobody else's schedule sitting in the middle of it. It is also why signs and lot lighting are a real part of what we do rather than something we take on reluctantly.
