Wired for the house you are actually going to live in
Rough-in is the one chance to get it right cheaply. Once the drywall is on, every change is a hole in a wall. So this is the point to think about where the television is really going, whether that island wants power, how many circuits the garage needs, and whether you would like the outdoor outlets on a switch.
We work with builders and with homeowners running their own project, from the service and panel through the rough-in to devices, fixtures and final inspection. We would rather spend an hour walking the framing with you than be the electrician who wired exactly what was on the plan and nothing else.
Additions, garages, workshops and finished basements are the same job at a smaller scale, with the added question of whether the existing panel can carry it. We check that before the work starts, not after.
